Manora Logistics was requested to organise the transport of a large crawler crane Terex CC 8800 from Saudi Arabia to South Africa. The cargo, including some heavy lifts, and dozens of counterweights and booms, was transported using over 80 trucks from inland Jubail, including special lowbed trailers, to Dammam port, stored there, customs cleared and finally loaded on the vessel mv Borkum. Upon arrival again the cargo will be customs cleared, loaded onto trucks and delivered to the final customer in South Africa. When operational the crane will be the largest in the African continent, and will be involved in the construction of new chemical facilities in Secunda.  Many thanks to all involved, a challenging task again!
