After months of careful planning and engineering, Manora completed the first load out of 6 foundations for the new offshore wind farm Amrum. The 6 Transition pieces, each approx 300 ton, were loaded and transported on a pontoon to Cuxhaven, Germany. This was a complicated project from engineering perspective, due to several constraints and required weather criteria of capacity to withstand waves upto 2,5 meters and wind upto 30 knots. The first load out was already seriously tested with heavy winds in Belgium and Netherlands during the loading process, however all went well, and the cargo will now be soon underway to its final destination.
Another successful project for Manora Logistics!
